The album called Academic Fragments takes the listener on a narrative journey through a fictional time at college including themes such as dark academia, esoterica, the appreciation of aesthetics, literature and even a varsity boat race.

Since a few years Frerick started to collect a lot of books on esoterica, classical literature, Norse and Greek mythologies sagas and symbols. He got fascinated about all this untapped knowledge that hasn't been taught in the public school system. Drawn into another world of symbols, mysticism, esoterica, classical languages, literature and different polytheistic philosophies throughout the ages he found out recently that he unintentionally fits the profile of a dark academic. Discovering a whole new world of like minded people on Instagram, Tumblr and Discord and in his playlist stats made him compose a brand new album dedicated to this beautiful scene that exist mostly in an online environment.

Expect dark, mellow and cinematic compositions authentically recorded on Frerick's upright Kawai felt piano.
